Do residents need to be tech-savvy?
No. Residents join with their phone number through an invite link, and the app is designed to feel as simple as a chat app.
How is residents' data protected?
Access is limited by role, sensors only monitor facilities, and data handling follows the principles of Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law. See the Privacy section for more.
Can communities other than RT/RW use it?
Yes. RukunU is optimised for RT/RW neighbourhoods and housing estates, but hobby clubs, alumni groups and other organisations can use it too.
